Today we are going to talk about promoting Amazon products. Amazon is by far the largest affiliate programs in the world. You will have at least came across an Amazon widget on a website at least once in your lifetime (today even).
Amazon has over 160M products on their website and that is growing on a daily basis as they attract new sellers. Although Amazon does not pay big commissions, their product rang and the fact that people make so many purchases on Amazon throughout the year makes up for it.

Amazon Affiliate Program
Note: There are some states in the US that have been blocked from Amazon as an affiliate because of tax laws enforced on Amazon. If you try to sign-up and you are not in an accepted state, then you may want to consider an alternate program. There are a few comparable ones in terms of vast product ranges:

TASK 1: After you access the Amazon Assocaites (affiliate program), you instantly have the ability to promote millions of products. They have a product search feature within their system that allows you to search for specific products that you want to promote.
Example:
Instantly, this is going to give you access to all the products that are related to "iPhone cases."
On the right (within the results), you will see "get link." This allows you to get your affiliate code and links associated with this product in this example, I am going to click the get link for the first product.
It takes me to the page where I can grab the code (as shown above)
I simply want to copy and paste this code into the HTML tab of my page and paste the code into my page or post.
After pasting it, you can publish your page and your Amazon affiliate product is live and available for your websites visitors to visit. Here is an example of this particular test so you can see for yourself.

You can do this for any product on any page (or post) on your site. Your task in this lesson is to add at least one Amazon widget to your site. If your jurisdiction is not accepted to the Amazon associates program, then incorporate one more affiliate link into one of the pages on your site.

EXTRA EARNINGS HAPPEN NATURALLY
Many people buy many things at once through Amazon. Sometimes you will get someone looking to buy a $9 book through your affiliate. They then decide to browse Amazon and buy a TV, you get credit on that as well (in a 24 hour shopping period). THis can really impact your revenue in an awesome way
